Red X plus Raven-1

Raven flew over the roofs of the city glancing over her shoulder. A man in a black suit and a skull mask hopped roof after roof throwing red objects at her. She dodged each one ,but each one became harder and harder to miss. Then it hit her. The red object struck her. It wrapped around her body. Engulfing her with pain. Raven lost balance and fell to the ground. She twisted herself upside down and saw the cold concrete just below her. She tried to let out a scream or a yell ,but couldn't find her voice. She wriggled out. She tried to fly. She was so panicked that she couldn't focus her powers enough. She closed her eyes waiting for the pain, then something hit her from the side then swooped her up. She opened her eyes. It was Red X. he caught her. Red X looked down at Raven and grinned. Raven uttered some words under her breath and her purple eyes grew dark. She zapped him. He went flying therefore letting her go. Raven collapsed on a roof with a thud. She stood up and balanced. She still struggled to break free from the Red X device. She squirmed and tried. She just ended up falling on her back. She had to move fast. Red X was bound to find her. Raven took in a breath of oxygen.
"Azarath Mertion Zinthos!" Raven screamed emphasizing the last incantation. A force field of darkness emerged from Raven's body stretching and tearing the X. She stretched. That thing almost cut off her circulation. Stupid Red X. Then she felt a light tap on her head. She looked up and saw gray clouds. She scowled and saw Thunder and Lightning smiling down at her. Thunder was beating his fists on the clouds and Lightning was waving lightning from across the city to the T-shaped Tower. They waved and Raven stuck out her tongue in an immature way. Thunder laughed causing a sonic boom. Raven covered her ears and then Lightning put his hand over Thunder's mouth and waved a polite apology. Then the gray clouds covered them up so they could not be seen. Raven felt her hair soaking wet from the rain. Her clothes began to get heavier, weighing her down. She unbuttoned her cloak and threw it on the floor. She looked around the roof. Turning a full 360 degrees. Then she spotted something standing by the door. It was a silhouette of a man. He came out of the dark shadows that the small door frame created and smiled at Raven. She flipped her hair and turned the other way. She still hasn't forgiven him about when they first met. Red X had flirted with Starfire when he caught her. Asking her on a date. Preposterous! The only thing her got was an ass-ful of star bolt. Red X's mouth dropped. How could she still be mad. They had been secretly dating for a week. Raven had always been attracted by his bad boy charisma.
"Are you playing hard to get?" Red X whispered in her ear as he got closer. Raven was still upset. Why wouldn't she be? Red X sighed and decided to take out his secret weapon. Red X took something out of his pocket and slipped it into Raven hair. Raven gasped and felt around. She felt a long and narrow object. She took it out and examined it. It was hard to see in the dark ,but she knew what it was. It was a rose. A black one. It was plastic ,but Raven was just as touched. Red X saw and gave her a smiled behind the mask.
"I know it's plastic ,but it was either that or they red one. I know red isn't your style and you hate when men do the same thing over and over." Red X said stating confidently. He was so conceited ,but that's what she liked. Raven stepped closer to him and Red X stood still. Raven lifted his mask just to show his lips and kissed him. Red X found this nice. Raven loosely wrapped her arms around him and let her hands go up his mask and into his hair. Her hand went farther and farther into the mask when it started to come off. Then the whole mask popped off. Raven eyes widened and she stopped kissing him and pulled away, she shielded her eyes and crawled in a corner. When they started dating Red X strictly told her he could not reveal his identity. Red X stood there. He liked her kissing him ,but his mask always got in the way. This is why they couldn't go on dates or out to dinner. Because of his identity. He ran his hand through his hair in frustration. He picked up the mask and sighed. Raven sat in the corner of the roof still shielding her eyes trembling.
He might yell at me. Raven thought. She shut her eyes and waited for the screaming. Instead she heard Red X walk up to her in the corner and squat down to her level. Red X lowered her hands from her face. Raven still had closed her eyes. Red X sighed.
"Raven, I'll show you who I am." Red X sighed sitting down. Raven slowly opened her eyes. She saw his face. Brown eyes with black silky hair hanging in front of his face ,but it was short it didn't go past his ear. His hair was shaggy and soft, maybe because of the rain. Raven moved closer. She touched his chin.
"A perfect face." Raven whispered almost crying. She traced his face with her finger and rtraced his lips. Red X grabbed her hand and kissed her roughly by surprise. Raven was taken back as he explored her mouth and Raven had permitted him. It was passionate and real, they felt like they were in an alternate dimension. A dimension of their own. Then something beeped. They snapped back to their reality. A reality that existed were they were like Romeo and Juliet. Raven was the Capulet who's family ,or the Titans, did not accept Red X like she had. Raven had stopped and saw it was the red jewel on her clothing that had been given to her by the Titans. Red X frowned he wanted to spend time with Raven. Raven looked at him. He nodded. Raven walked and picked up her cloak. It was still raining. Raven held the plastic rose to her heart and smiled. Raven was about to take off until she felt something tug on her arm. She went back down and saw Red X was holding her arm.
"I have to go." Raven said demanding. Red X nodded.
"I want to be a part of the Titans." Red X said pulling Raven fully to the ground on two feet. She looked shocked and confused. She shook her head causing the excess rainwater from her hair to go flying.
"Are you serious? You're the enemy." Raven said. She had a feeling he was using her just to get to the Titans. Raven's heart was slowly cracking. No one ever got close to Raven's heart, except for Robin ,but she knew he loved Starfire. Red X looked at her with pleading eyes. Raven's look softened. Then she felt something. Raven always knew when people were lying. It was a special ability that always worked when it did. If they were telling the truth she something went off in her brain. Call it a hunch she didn't care, it was an ability.
"Okay, I have an idea on how to get nice with them." Raven said scratching her head. Was he serious? Raven thought. Red X put on his mask and held Raven's hand. Raven flew off into the night carrying Red X's weight and hers as well. They flew across buildings and buildings. It lit up the city with beautiful hues of yellow and whites. The people were so tiny. They looked like little ants. Then Red X saw a T-shaped Tower ahead. It was yellow and it was HUGE. Raven landed on the front and breathed in a deep breath. She felt butterflies in your stomach. Like when you were in a spelling bee and it was your turn to spell, or when your in a school play and you know YOU stutter a lot. Raven cluched her stomach and Red X put her arm around her. Raven clutched the black rose for good luck and entered the building.

Raven and Red X stood before the metal door and waited. Everyone was in the living room. Raven heard Beastboy yell at Cyborg while playing videogames. She overheard Starfire rant on about Tamaranian food to Robin. Then she looked at Red X. He was just as nervous as she was. Then he nodded. They stepped forward. As the automatic metal door slid aside and the light hit their face Raven held Red X's hand close to her heart. In the other hand she clutched the plastic rose so tightly that the fake thorns were piercing her skin. Robin turned around and smiled.
"Good evening Rav-" Robin said then he stopped. His mouth dropped. Raven felt like throwing up. Starfire turned to see and gasped one of those way girly gasps. Cyborg paused the game and turned around also.
"Hey, what's with the-" Cyborg said still holding the game controller. He saw the two in the doorway holding hands and his jaw slammed against the couch.
"Oh My God." Beastboy said as he got up. Robin shook his head and grabbed his metal rod. Starfire's eyes lit an emerals green and her hands glowed green. Like she was radioactive. Cyborg got up getting his sonic canon ready. Beastboy morphed into a tiger and growled. He was ready to strike.
"Titans go!" Robin yelled. Raven snapped out of he nausea and stepped in front of Red X. Robin was 2 feet away from Raven and Red X. Raven made a force field of black energy to protect them.
"Raven what are you doing?" Robin asked growling. Raven shook her head.
"Please don't hurt him." Raven said in a caring voice ,but her plain cracked sarcastic tone still remained. Robin looked at her like she was crazy. Starfire remained glowing and Cyborg never released his sonic canon and as for Beastboy, he morphed into a Bigfoot instead.
"Raven, why are you protecting the Red X?" Starfire asked coming closer. Her eyes were back to normal ,but her fists were still green. Raven bit her lip. She still stood in front of Red X. She did not show much emotion ,but she did love Red X.
"Because I love him.." Raven stated proudly lifting her head. Raven released her force field and heard the several gasps of her team. Robin just growled and gripped his rod.
"That's a lie! He's controlling you!" Robin yelled jumping up in the air. Beatsboy morphed back to his human state, waiting to see what was next. He aimed for Red X. Raven gasped and Red X watched in horror. Raven moved in front of him and closed her eyes. She felt true about Red X and promised him she would stay by his side. Then something hit her. Raven felt the iron blow of Robin's rod. Her head felt like she smashed it against a brick wall. Might as well. She fell back, landing into Red X's arms. Red X caught her. The impact made Red X collapse. Red X supported her head. Raven felt her head. She felt something sticky, she looked at her hand. It was a scarlet red. She gasped and looked at Robin. His face changed from 'I hit him! Yay!' to 'Oh My God….What Have I done?'. Red X felt like slugging Robin ,but remained silent. He needed to help Raven. Cyborg looked at Robin then at his rod.
Robin looked down at his metal stick. It was bloody. He dropped it like it was burning and went over to Raven. He knelt down and touched Raven's hair. His eyes started to tear up.
"Raven, I'm sorry." Robin started. She felt dizzy. Red X flamed. He slapped Robin's hand away.
"DON'T TOUCH HER!" Red X said. Raven's head went fuzzy. She touched Red X's mask. His mask felt damp under the eye holes. He was crying. Raven smiled. He cared for her. Cyborg didn't waste any time. He grabbed the paper towels from the kitchen and hurried toward Raven's side. He ripped about ten and put them on Raven forehead. She bit her lip to keep her from screaming. Red X was in so much pain to see Raven like this. Raven moaned. Robin looked at his hands in disgust. Starfire fainted at the sight of blood. Beastboy went to Robin's side.
"What did you do? You gave her a concussion! She could possibly die!" Beastboy yelled at Robin shakking him by the collar. Robin accepted this. Cyborg lifted her up and carried her to their infirmary.

Raven sat in a hospital bed in the Titan infirmary. She was unconscious ,but alive. Robin was sitting in the corner, being rejected by the group. Red X lay by Raven's side holding her hand. He was crying especially since he saw that Raven was still holding the rose. Even if she was knocked out you could clearly see that Raven squeezed it tightly. Red X was in pain. Red X touched her cheek. Even in a ner death experience she looked beautiful.
"I hope your happy." Red X said in a cold voice. Robin looked down again. Guilty. Then Red X stood up and took off his suit. He was wearing a white button down shirt and jeans under it. He threw them on the floor and took of his mask. He shook his hair and threw the suit at Robin. Robin looked surprised. He caught the suit and looked at him. He looked at Robin with anger.
"I hope you're content. Consider this a peace offering. If I was lying about Raven she would've sensed it. I just wanted to join the Titans to be with her. That's all. If I wanted to infiltrate the Teen Titans' Tower don't you think I would've done that by now?" Red X said. He had a point. He shook his head disdainfully.
"I mean with that kinda tech that would've been easy ,but the only time I broke in was to see Raven." Red X said tearing up.
"Red X," Cyborg said. "we would be glad to have you on our team." Cyborg said patting his hand on his shoulder. Red X gave him a shy smile. Cyborg grinned from ear to ear and handed him a Teen Titan locator. Then someone moaned. They all turned towards Raven in the gurney. She sat up and rubbed her head. Her head felt soft and squishy. She felt it again. It was gauze. She needed stitching. Then she saw Red X. He was crying yet he still smiled. He waved his locator.
"Look who's a Titan." Red X smiled. Raven gasped. She extended her hands. Red X ran up and hugged her. Raven squeezed him. She let go and gave Cyborg a surprised look. Cyborg rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. Raven smiled slightly. She had a strict rule about emotion ,but there always was an exception for Red X.
"I decided he was Titan material and this was good for him to spend some time with you." Cyborg admitted. Starfire giggled gleefully. She hovered over.
"He would be a worthy addition to our team." Starfire said smiling. She was so full of joy, it was scary especially to Red X since he was new. Beastboy scratched his head.
"But where will he stay? We don't have any extra rooms and I don't think he'll crash on our couch." Beastboy said chuckling. The couch was dirty. Chips, pizza, Starfire's weird foods all stained that couch. Starfire thought then she had an idea.
"He will stay in Raven's quarters!" Starfire clapped happily. Everyone looked at Starfire in shock. Especially Robin. She was so spaced out. Doesn't she know they're only TEENAGERS?!? Cyborg's jaw snapped back up as he thought about it.
"Well, they are, uh what do you call it? Dating? So might as well embark on the most hospitable task of inviting him in your quarters!" Starfire explained. She giggled. Ugh. Starfire's happy-go-lucky attitude started to piss Red X and Raven off. Robin stepped up.
"No, that's too drastic I won't allow it." Robin said dropping the Red X suit. He didn't want that in the tower. Who knows what they would do. Beastboy stepped out.
"Dude, that's not your decision to make. We don't have any extra rooms, what can we do? He can't sleep on the couch it's disgusting, besides who else is better than Raven? I mean, they'd be the most comfortable. What if that does happen? What would you do? Hit Raven for being hospitable?" Beastboy spat. The nerve of him. I mean that's the least he could do since he nearly killed Raven. Beastboy thought. He growled at Robin. Robin shrunk back in the corner and remained silent. Raven kissed the top of Red X's forehead. Red X blushed.
"Welcome to the team."
